Birthday musings

Last tuesday sept 25 was my birthday. I turned 24. Interesting growing up gradually into the grave huh? On that day I took it simple and easy.I enjoyed hosting the 3hour morning show which centered on relationships on campus... then I had some chat and gifts from friends and some calls and all. But I made what I deem quite meaningful... Instead of a party I used the money to support the work of a foundation for girl child education...It wasn't that much though, but it was from my heart. But I think on that day too I told a friend what I think and feel about her- but now I don't know if it was the right thing to do cos she's kept some artificial distance for the last two days. But really why should I get my self worried when I honestly told her what I think about her... well, that seems to be in a woman's world and I don't pretend to understand them that much, even though I try that hard, with all that my mum taught me... Ah what am I saying... I'm musing...

On a more serious note... what do I mean by 'serious'? any way, there's going to be a big show of outdoor poetry next month on the university of Ghana campus. It a collaboration between 'Open Air Theatre' and "Poetry Pot". I can't wait to see it happen, for now my attention is on the organisation..

Today, it was really difficult waking up to do my writing practice... but I had to shut up and sit down and write... call it whatever, be it junk or anything, it works, find your best time and write anything that comes to mind... if you can do that by filling notebooks after the other, I'm sure very soon you'll be on your way tackling your first major writing as I'm now...

What next? It's a friday and I"m torn between going for the funeral of the Pro VC's mother and really sleeping, resting and going to watch a movie..I'll most likely try some tenis with obed tomorrow... Let's see

What do I think of Love?

I was asked by one of my lady colleagues at work-Radio Univers, about what I think about love...

Well I think Love is a natural phenomenon, mixed with feeling and action. I believe in true unconditional love which for me grows...
Most importantly I don't and will never beg for love.... What do you think?

Obviously I've been lazy with my blog, but I'm going to do my best... currently, I'm working on a story(NEWS) on how about some hundred students are being asked to resit their paper in Introduction to Geographic Thought(GEOG 201)... why? because according to the department, the papers can't be found? should someone suffer because of another's negligence? Will the student's dare take the Department and the University of Ghana to court? or they'll keep quite over their frustrations and write the paper? Let's see how it goes....

Tuesday, I'm hosting Campus Exclusive, the morning show... and my topic is Relationships on Campus...I surely hope to enjoy it, but what do you think? do you think it's worth being in relationship on campus?...
